I am happy to announce that the Lightbreaker theme has been downloaded 1,110 times (and counting).I have visited quite a few of the blogs that are using this theme and i wonder why most bloggers don’t make full use of this theme as there are options for “PullQuotes” & “Image Captions” , hopefully those who are using the theme will start to use this feature
Also i personally think this theme could be modified to suit most needs, and as a message to those using this theme i would suggest changing the background pattern, it will make much difference in my opinion.
I would also like to say a BIG THANK YOU for supporting me and using this theme and my other themes, it really does bring a smile on my face when i visit or stumble on a blog that’s using my themes.
Polls Results
Also for the past month or so i’ve set a poll on the sidebar and my question was “How Many Columns Do you Prefer for your Blog?”, the answers available were:
2 Columns
3 Columns
4 Columns
Mix Magazine Style (Grid)
And the results are in, out of the 272 voters:
3 columns 49% (132 votes)
2 columns 24% (64 votes)
Mix Magazine Style (Grid) 18% (48 votes)
4 columns 10% (28 votes)
It’s interesting to note that the majority of people prefer 3 columned theme, i guess this has to do with placing advertisments on the sidebar, if it’s for anything else in your opinion please comment here.
I will be doing a little more research about people’s prefrences in WordPress Themes, I aim to use this collective data in creating my Premium Theme, yes i am going to dabble in the “Premium Theme” market but it’s going to be a little different business model from the other Premium Themes out there.
There is now a new Poll on the sidebar, so go ahead and vote again!

I love the theme, and i just updated to to 2.5 as well. I only have one problem is when I update my pages and I save them my navigation links point to 404, I then have to go change my permalinks from /%index.php%/%postname%/ to /%index.php/ then go to each page then switch the permalinks back to /%index.php%/%postname%/ and republish a post for them to work.

Great tutorial. I can’t get it to work on my coding though. I want a background image to tile, seems simple enough, but I can’t get it to work. Here’s my stylesheet for the background:
body {
font-family: Verdana, Arial, “Times New Roman”, sans-serif;
font-size: 65.7%;
color: #565656;
margin: 0px;
padding: 0px;
background: #7F2860 url(’images/snack_cake.gif’);
All my images are in the right places, I don’t have any idea what I’m doing wrong. Any help would be appreciated – I’m using the LightBreaker theme.Thanks!

I love this theme. Thank you! A couple of things. How do I implement the email subscribe box in the sidebar so that it works?
