We already looked at some amazing top 20 WordPress Themes of 2007 and now it’s time to look at Premium Themes that were released in 2007, i can only imagine what’s in store next year as the designs and functionality of these themes keep getting better and better.The themes below are however not FREE, i have listed the price (personal not developer price) for each theme.
Cornerstone Theme - $99.95
As the name suggest this theme was intended to be the corner stone for designers or developers who constantly use WordPress to power their client’s sites.Cornerstone is a fixed width, magazine style layout. The upper portion of the sidebar is wide enough to house videos or a variety of ad banner sizes to fit your needs. The lower portion is split into two columns, providing plenty of options for displaying category links, popular posts, flickr photos, etc.
The color scheme was intentionally kept simple so more could be left to the imagination of the end user. Changes can easily be made to colors, fonts and layout in the well commented CSS file.
The theme is widget ready with four enabled areas. For those who prefer more precise control, the sidebar is coded with conditional tags to give you more options over which content shows up where.

This is also a new theme on the block, it was designed by Brian of ElitebyDesign.com and it looks like a very beautiful theme, many have commented that once he sell this theme he will loose that “unique feel” as he is usign this theme on his blog as well. I consider myself to be in the same shoes as i am releasing my current theme next month.Although i stated above that the price is $65 that is actually if you leave the credit link in the footer, if your want it off than it will cost you $100.
PressLance - $19.99

This is so far the least expensive premium theme around, but that does now mean it lack quality, it a solid 2 column theme that has an attractive “web 2.0″ style that includes several advertising placements.The theme is table-free, 100% pure valid CSS. It has been tested successfuly on Firefox, Internet Explorer v7 and the outdated Internet Explorer v6.
Gridline - $20.00
Ok, this theme is just $0.01 more than the PressLance theme and so it could be considered as one of the least expensive too, but it comes with a twist as the author plans to give all proceeds of this theme to the charity or Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice to be exact.That’s a good gesture and all the best to him.The theme comes with the option of 1 sidebar or 2.
Premium News Theme $99.95
Yet another theme by Adii and what a great looking theme it is, there were two lucky winners a few weeks back as Adii sponsored two of the Premium News theme for readers of this blog.
NewsPixel - $97.00
