Alright, i’m finally releasing my current theme, it’s my 13th theme (lucky 13?) and i think it’s so far the best theme i’ve ever release.I must say a big thank you to my friend Richie K who coded this theme and you will see in your theme admin panel that alot of work went into it.This theme is also released in conjuction with this blog’s 1st annivesary, I can’t believed how time flew away so fast!.
Blog, Magazine & List
This is actually a 3-in-1 theme where you will be able to select you layout of choice from your theme admin panel, the choices are a (normal) blog layout, a Magazine styled layout and a List styled layout, you’ll get what i mean once you’ve uploaded and activated the theme.
Custom Fields & Plugins
This theme will run out of the box, there’s no real need for any plugins to be installed HOWEVER to get the most out of this theme i highly suggest you install these plugin:
Custom fields are also in use for this theme, you can learn more in the README section once you’ve activated the theme.
The Backend
Once you’ve uploaded and activated theme in your wp-admin>>presentation you will noticed another tab called Mzine CMS option, this is the place where you will be able to control the style of your theme, your prefered font family (17 to choose from!), your prefered font size, and you can also set image aligments that will automatically align images in your post to the left or right or none at all!.
You will also be able to add a header to the theme (894×125 minimum width and height) just paste your header’s URL.
There’s also some other cool stuff like font colors, navigation colors etc, download the theme to find out!.
Forte?
I did ask you to name this theme and there was some excellent suggestions but in the end i chose Forte because of my inclination towards music, my name has the initials of MF and some of my friends call me mezzo-forte which means moderately slow in musical terms, i already have a theme named Mezzo so i guess i wanted to complete it by releasing Forte.
License and Credits:
Forte is released under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0, which essentially means you are free to edit and remix the theme as you wish BUT the two links in the footer that points back to this site must remain.
DOMTab by Chris Heilmann
Footer Link Removal
I understand that some might want to use this theme for certain projects and require the links in the footer to be removed, I am accepting a flat fee of $25 for permission to remove the links, please contact me for more info.
Support
Releasing a few themes before this has taught me that it’s quite hard for me to answer every single support question, that is why i have decided to setup a support forum (soon) where i will once in a while offer my help but i’m also hoping that the readers of this blog will help each other out too.
Ideas:
This theme is very tweakable, you can change the background, add logo and such to make it unique,as an example I am using this theme on my Football Blog as well.
Live Demo
(it’s the same theme this blog is using now).
Download: Forte Theme — Downloaded 11768 Times
**There’s also a French translation of this theme by libretto
**Update 31st January 2008
Video of Theme options:
This one of my first times doing a video tutorial thingy, i regret that it’s not clear as it is, anyone with video experience please let me know what is the best resolution if i’m going to upload to YouTube, i’m using the Camtasia Studio software.
Thanks

January 24th, 2008 at 3:56 am
Amazing theme
gone to write about it on my blog
January 24th, 2008 at 3:57 am
It’s a fully internationalized theme readi to be localized in any language or there is any I18N functions at all?
January 24th, 2008 at 4:03 am
i like this theme, its simple and looks great. its easy for newbies and with this plugins you included its enough to start a little magazin-blog from scratch.
the only problem is the customfield-everyone has it, but none uses it correctly. i saw many themes like mimbo, structure, visuality and wpdesigners that are using this custom fields. but what was before?
none has used this neat feature and i think its grown to popuarity since those themes are created. but thats another discussion.
what i like on this theme is the easy reading and the tabbed-menu in your sidebar. thats something i also would include in our poolsports page. the sidebar there looks terrible and empty, but thats not your problem
gratulations on your theme number 13, i really like it and i hope you can get alot of feedback and linkbacks.
January 24th, 2008 at 4:03 am
@SteveAgl - Hmm.., i’ve never really explored the opportunity to release it in other languages, have any ideas? Thanks.
January 24th, 2008 at 4:07 am
Thank you Tom for your kind words, i too have a feeling some WordPress users are not well aquainted with the features of custom-fields, maybe if i have time over the weekend i’ll create a short video tutorial.
January 24th, 2008 at 5:01 pm
Very nice and clean theme. Love how you integrated the ad space and tabbed menu in the sidebar and the configurability. I have a list of premium themes on my blog ( in Dutch) and this one will surely be added to it.
Keep up the good work!
January 25th, 2008 at 3:23 pm
Congratulations on your blog’s first year! I’ve been a visitor of your blog many times and you’ve done a good job. Keep it up and more power to you!
Btw, I didn’t know that you made this theme available to the public. I only found out now when a friend of mine used it on his blog. If I knew earlier I would have used this theme too. I really like it.
January 27th, 2008 at 2:34 am
I dont see navigation?
blog is http://www.yeni.web.tr
January 27th, 2008 at 6:14 am
Hi Bülent Sakarya,
Did you download the theme from here or on another site? In any case i think a fresh upload will solve the problem.
January 27th, 2008 at 5:35 pm
Yes, I had the same problem - no navigation bar appeared and I downloaded the files from here. Lovely theme, though.
January 27th, 2008 at 5:59 pm
Hmmm..is anyone else having this problem? I’ve re-uploaded the zip file just in case.
Let me know
Thanks
January 27th, 2008 at 7:06 pm
Hi Moses.
I have downloaded files from here, again. but still same problem.
January 27th, 2008 at 7:45 pm
The problem seems to be with configurations.php - I don’t think the server I’m using can cope with using it (no idea why, though). A workround may be to redefine the file as static css. I’ll try that.
January 28th, 2008 at 12:20 am
Tried the theme and it looks fine for me…
January 28th, 2008 at 1:29 am
Do i change configurations.php chmod?
January 28th, 2008 at 1:35 am
@ben - i see, i dunno why that might be, let e know how it goes for you.
@Bülent Sakarya - What is the current permission for configurations.php? mine is set to 644
January 28th, 2008 at 3:13 am
it is 644 now.
January 28th, 2008 at 10:39 am
great thanks, this is one of the best wp theme I’ve ever seen.
January 30th, 2008 at 8:58 am
Hi Moses, Firstly what I can say is this is a great wp theme..
I’m still learning on how to use the custom field.. I’ve problem here.. how I can display the video at the video tab.. I’m try to use the video-code as a key but not sure what’s the value to be key in.. I’ll try to use the direct video link and the embed code also but still failed..
I’m not sure if my way is correct or not.. could you briefly describe the correct way for this..
Sorry for the noob question..
January 30th, 2008 at 11:43 am
@Moses
how am i going to remove the dark grey color in the background of the post? I need to replace it to white instead of dark grey…you can see in in action at http://www.phblogger.net
January 30th, 2008 at 11:49 am
@Lhurey, hmmmm..the theme comes with a white background as you see on this blog, i have no idea why yours is in grey?
@Fizfaz - Hi, i will try to create a simple video tutorial about custom fields for this theme in a day or two , i also need to setup a support forum but my current schedule is a little tight..no worries though i will try to get it up before the weekend.
January 30th, 2008 at 12:02 pm
@Moses
do you have any guess why i am having a dark grey back ground?
January 30th, 2008 at 1:17 pm
Very cool features, thanks!
January 30th, 2008 at 1:23 pm
This is, by far, the best WP theme I have ever seen. I’m maintaining a really complicated website that needs both looks and functionality (and at the same time it shouldn’t scare people who are as tech-savvy as they were back in ‘98) and I think Forte leaves enough space for customisation, yet it’s really user-friendly and some things about it are exactly what I imagined: tasteful colours, nice bullets, some tabs to save space, all the plugins I’d normally use for interaction.
The only little problem I see is some really weird grammar under the “Post My Comment” button. The sentence almost makes no sense and I don’t know if it’s the plugin or…? O_o Now I have noticed grammar weirdness on the no-results page as well. That’s my only contra here, all the others are pros.
January 31st, 2008 at 12:58 am
…and now it says that I said the above “in” 30th January 2008. So, the only weak point of this amazing theme is grammar…seriously:(
January 31st, 2008 at 5:05 am
@Iva, thanks for the compliments and pointing out the grammar error, my mistake, will edit it soon.
Cheers.
January 31st, 2008 at 5:09 am
It seems that your theme is already very very popular. I think your work deserve this popularity.
I’ve released the french translation here : http://wordpress-tuto.fr/theme-wordpress-magazine-forte-329
January 31st, 2008 at 5:18 am
Thank You libretto, i shall update the post to point to the French version as well.
January 31st, 2008 at 10:24 am
I’m also struggling with the video DOMtab. Suggestions/advice would be great. This is a really nice theme. Well done!
January 31st, 2008 at 11:47 am
@Charbel - Hi, what kind of problems are you facing with the DOMtab/video?
Have you tried adding the code via custom fields?
Let me know.
January 31st, 2008 at 11:59 am
I am also trying to add video to the sidebar, i have done just the link to the video in the custom field, the whole code offered by youtube, but it does not work. Can you by chance just give an example screenshot of what we should do to get it to work?
January 31st, 2008 at 1:58 pm
Happy Anniversary, and thank you for Forte.
Vote for it on wpthemez.
January 31st, 2008 at 2:19 pm
Hello - first off, great theme! I really like it, however, Ive been having some trouble getting it to work on my server, could you take a look and tell me what im doing wrong?
http://trucks.chinacartimes.com
any help would be great appreciated. all files have been uploaded!
I will help translating the theme to Chinese if someone helps me out!
January 31st, 2008 at 5:19 pm
@Moses Sorry, I should have been more clear. I am facing similar issues w/ video as the other folks are mentioning via comments. I place the key you specify in the settings section and I have tried placing both the URL and the embed code…the video doesn’t show up. I will have a look at the video you just submitted to see if you mention it. If not, I’ll keep looking here in the comments section for responses. Thanks so much!
January 31st, 2008 at 5:51 pm
Re: video tab. I just figured out why we’re having trouble seeing the videos appear in the DOMtab. I looked in [ domtab.php ] and found this section:
I uncommented, saved, and uploaded. Went back to my post, filled in the key (video-code) and Value (the embed code from YouTube), and it worked! Once I removed the [ /* */ ] from the php call in domtab.php, it worked fine. I hope that helps.
January 31st, 2008 at 6:16 pm
@charbel
i see charbel found the easter egg already…just kidding
i was about the post the problems fix.
@Lhurey
open configuration.php and find this line
body {
margin: 0px;
padding: 0px;
font-family: <?php echo $tn_mz_blog_font_type; ?>;
font-size: 100%;
color: #4E4E4E;
background: #FFFFFF url(images/bg.png) repeat;
}
- change the backgorund to backgorund: #FFFFFF;
that should remove the img background css
=========================================
@video embed problem
the video embed placement in sidebar domtab is control by “video-code” without quote custom field value, it will display only one latest video that will be query from database meta field….
you have to uncomment the domtab.php get_latest_vid first
<?php /* get_latestvideo(); */ ?>
change to
<?php get_latestvideo(); ?>
========================================
thanks moses for the mention
I was thinking the same thing.. how to make more clear
video tutorial?…i always wanted to make some theme tutorial
in the future
January 31st, 2008 at 8:31 pm
Thank You Richie
February 1st, 2008 at 12:16 am
Finally somebody found why the video is not appeared. Thanks.
I’ve another question, how we can disable the excerpt post at the home page? Thanks in advance.
February 1st, 2008 at 3:04 am
Hi, moses, thanks for your great theme, I’m using it on my blog now. But I find something, eh, maybe I can call it a bug? In the index page I can see the comment count of a post, for example, “2 comments”, but when I click it, I’m taken to the “post my comment” input form, not the comments section. This is indeed not convinient.
February 1st, 2008 at 11:22 am
This may be a dumb question, but how do I get text to wrap around images in a post? You can check out my blog here: Building Camelot
February 1st, 2008 at 6:06 pm
Great job.. when i put video link in value in the custom field .. it shows the link instead video..
What do u think i am doing wrong
February 1st, 2008 at 6:41 pm
@Tyler @ Building Camelot - You can align the images left or right in the “Mzine CMS Option”, look out for “Global Image Alignment”.
@alikhan - Looks like your placing the URL of the video instead of the embed codes.
February 1st, 2008 at 10:34 pm
Great theme. One problem though… Why won´t the featured articles section work. I choose the category, but the recent post in that category just won´t stay sticky.
February 1st, 2008 at 11:08 pm
@Moses if i put the embed code for youtube video it is displayed correctly, but xhtml validation show 21 errors all related to the embed code. There is a way to use viper video plugin to display video in the box? Or some other solution that let xhtml validation go ok?
Naturally great work Moses.
ciao
February 2nd, 2008 at 3:10 am
Moses,
First I’ve got to say I love your footyblog. My son is a great football fan and loves Manchester Utd. I have given him your blog address and he is tuning in.
I am an author and wanting to est a blog for promoting what I write and communicating with my readership. I really like the look and feel of your Forte theme. I have downloaded it and begun to setup my blog, but I’m an newby and I am having some general trouble with the setup (e.g. I want to put in my own logo and picture, but can’t figure out how to lay it in, I would like to have a “tell-a-friend” email forwarding and I’m not sure how to do that (is that something that “Feedburner” addresses?), sometimes the site says Comment area not open, etc, etc.). Is there a way that I might be able to solicit your direct help (for pay of course) in helping me get everything setup? If not, could you lead me to someone that could help me? I think I can get there on my own…eventually…but I might go crazy in the process :). Thanks for putting together a cool theme. Very hopeful I can make it work for my purposes.
Chris
February 2nd, 2008 at 7:30 am
Does anyone know why I cant see the navigation bar? Please help me, I realy wnat to use this great theme.
February 2nd, 2008 at 7:50 am
This is a beautiful theme! But I am having one problem: the featured-images thumbnails crop my images instead of shrinking them (they only display the upper left portion of the image, no matter what size). Is this something that can be fixed or should I just plan on creating thumbs in the exact size the template uses (which looks like maybe 75×75?). On that subject, it would be nice if there was more control over the size of the thumbs. I’d rather see 100×100 or 125×125 thumbs if possible.
February 2nd, 2008 at 8:05 am
Hi, I’m back… I just found the answer to my question. By changing the “span-img” properties in the style CSS file I was able to make the thumbnail bigger. The default is 64×64. I made it 150×150 and didn’t notice any adverse effect on the theme. Still can’t explain the cropping vs. shrinking but at least now I can create some custom size thumbs and use them with the custom field. Outstanding!
February 2nd, 2008 at 10:13 am
Moses
I have continued to work throughout the day one the Forte theme. I still haven’t resolved the issues in my last post, but I am getting more comfortable with it all the time. I have been able to adapt it quite a bit now. I opened a FeedBurner account after reading up a bit and I have put all the plug-ins out on my server that you suggest. I thought when I activated them that the plug-ins would cause the “subscribe” button and email subscription page to appear…wrong again. Is there some script I need to unlock or if not, can you give me some information about how to go about setting things up for FeedBurner just like you have them on your FootyBlog. Will appreciate whatever help you can give.
Chris
February 2nd, 2008 at 1:07 pm
@Chrisd, hi, Thanks for your kind comments.
You need to configure the feedburner plugin that i recomended, to do that you must go to Options>>FeedCount in your wp-admin panel, and follow the instructions there.
Yes, sure, please contact me.
February 2nd, 2008 at 6:54 pm
Moses, any update for my above comment? Cheers!
February 2nd, 2008 at 7:43 pm
How do you make the excerpt on the front page longer?
February 4th, 2008 at 6:46 pm
I still have one problem… Why won´t the featured articles section work. I choose the category, but the recent post in that category just won´t stay sticky. So, what is wrong? The theme is great, but when this function is not working, it looses the idea.
February 5th, 2008 at 4:55 am
Do you have any tips on how to get the Feature function to work? I have tried everything in the settings, but it still just shows summaries of each post from all cats in chronological as usual for blogs.
Also, The first 3 post summaries don’t have the “Read More” button. Any idea why?
February 5th, 2008 at 9:02 pm
OK, no replies to my request. So, here´s a simple patch to all of you that won´t get the FEATURED ARTICLES section to work.
1. Open up the file Forte/layouts/mzine.php.
2 Find the

part.
3. Above that piece of code , paste this:

showposts defines how many posts from your featured category you want to display, and the cat points to the category from which to pull your posts.
Works wonders, though it´s simple, and does not interfere with any other function within Forte.
February 5th, 2008 at 9:05 pm
Hmmm… Did not want to display the code parts. I´ll try this:
<!– –>
For the first part.
February 5th, 2008 at 9:06 pm
Hmmm… Did not want to display the code parts. How can I display some piece of code here?
February 6th, 2008 at 5:47 am
how i can use flickr roll without widget??where insert rss feed?
February 7th, 2008 at 1:59 pm
This is amazing themes. already download it. but look at download stats.. already 1400+ downloaded. cool huh
February 11th, 2008 at 1:39 am
Hi, Moses, how can I add a border to the images in a post? I checked the global.css and style.css, but could not find a way. Even when I added a border manually in the tiny-mce editor, it couldn’t be displayed properly. Thanks for your great theme!
February 11th, 2008 at 5:23 am
For the life of me I cannot figure out how to add something on the main blog page post area. I don’t know why I can’t figure it out….but I can’t. I want to add something below where the text displays on each post only on the main page, but I cannot find the file that will allow me to do this. The “Main Index” file is not like most other theme files, and I can’t figure out what to do. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
February 11th, 2008 at 6:13 am
Also, how do I make the theme not delete my returns and leave the spacing I am putting between paragraphs? I know it is somewhere in the CSS but I can’t find it. Thanks for the help.
February 11th, 2008 at 9:41 am
Is there anyway to release this theme without all the added stuff? Like w/o the mzine stuff and options stuff? Just pure static css files? The current theme, as it stands, doesnt work on my server.
February 13th, 2008 at 5:02 pm
Wow, I have been looking around for the best WP Theme to use. This one I think is the best - exactly what a blogger would want on a theme - especially for newbie bloggers like me…
Will try this and feature it on my blog. More power!
February 15th, 2008 at 9:50 am
Thanks for sharing it FREE. Hopefully I can contribute to you to further support you in sharing these kind of stuff on the net. Hoping I can make money thru online..
February 16th, 2008 at 12:23 am

Thanks for this wonderful template
I am now using it in my http://www.goparadisephilippines.com and I love it…
February 17th, 2008 at 8:58 am
Where is the tag support ? It’s such an excellent theme.
Sad that it lacks a prominent feature…
February 18th, 2008 at 12:30 am
hi! i am using this theme (Forte), i have a question and i need your help on this. I usually can figure this kind of stuff myself but i can’t seem to figure this one out. Whenever i post an image it automatically floats left and it messes up my smilies or whatever image i post. can you point me to where i could edit that in the CSS? Thanks a lot!
February 18th, 2008 at 2:33 am
ok my questions refer to the implementation of this theme on my self-hosted blog at http://nikas-culinaria.com
I have the 2.3.3 install
is it not the case that cat is no longer valid but must be term? I am not able to get the featured stuff to work and am wondering if this is the reason.
February 18th, 2008 at 3:08 am
Great theme! A fantastic combination of simplicity & value. LIke many others, I am a newbie to Wordpress and I can’t get the video tab to work. Can somebody post a step-by-step comment?
February 18th, 2008 at 3:16 am
For video help please read this
February 18th, 2008 at 6:37 pm
The video feature works fine now. Many thanks for a great theme!
February 18th, 2008 at 6:43 pm
hi again. please disregard my previous comment. i figured it out and it was dumb of me to forget about the Mzine options.
best theme ever!
February 18th, 2008 at 8:28 pm
really nice theme
February 18th, 2008 at 10:09 pm
hi, how do I change the background colour of the footer? I checked on the Mzine options but could not locate it. Do I have to make changes in the CSS?
February 18th, 2008 at 11:11 pm
I noticed that Lightbox plugin not working with this theme. Anyone did solve LightBox plugin problem?
February 19th, 2008 at 7:40 am
Next question. When i set up align in Mzine CMS Option/Global Image Alignment for example “left” then all of my pictures are left aligned, How to change some pictures align? For example only 1 picture should be align right?
When i use align to picture in post, it doesn’t work
February 19th, 2008 at 2:15 pm
For upstairs, I think place the pics using , sth like this one by one is better…
February 19th, 2008 at 2:19 pm
Please forgive my ignorance, i really need to learn more about wordpress, , I love this template and would like to use it, however I am very much a newbie.. how would I change the background to my own? I love the image you had in the demo of the siding.. I couldn’t by any chance use that as a background could I?
And on the DIGG FOR DESIGNERS part I’d love to be able to change those to be able to reflect a bunch of images.. would I just find the code in the respective style sheet and change it and upload the same size image with a different file name? ee… I’m really new to this but am trying to learn.. does anyone know of a great site with tutorials to customize a wp theme, more specific this one?
Thank you for your time & efforts. I love your theme!
February 19th, 2008 at 6:02 pm
@ loca - i would love to help you but you would need some basic knoledge of PHP,HTML and CSS.
ANywayz, you can change your background by editing the configurations.php file and to change the images “DIGG FOR DESIGNERS” you would have to edit advertisment.php
THIS IS ALSO A GOOD READ.
February 19th, 2008 at 7:00 pm
Hi Moses, I want how can I see some pictures in the main page when post some post, and when go read more to can see all pictures. I want this because, all time when i post something give me a small text only(I want 1 picture to show too), and when i go read more, it show me the hole post whit pictures.
February 21st, 2008 at 2:57 am
thank you moses. I will have to get some good books on css and php i know a little and I will follow the site you linked too.
you’re awesome!
February 21st, 2008 at 4:30 am
I have to say I really like Forte. I’ve just spent the last 12 or so hours with it and I really like how you laid it out. Very smart, very slick. Thank you.
Unfortunately, I’m having a problem with the theme displaying properly. In IE 7, it renders correctly but I have a “domtab.backToLinks is null or not an object” error. I’m sure I’ve done something wrong, but I’m wondering if you have any suggestions as to what I should look for.
February 21st, 2008 at 11:01 pm
I’m having the same problem with the navigation bar. It also won’t show the gray striped background.
Has this problem been fixed for the other people??
Lovin the theme if it would work! Thanks,
February 22nd, 2008 at 7:26 am
Anyone figure out how to fix the navigation bar not showing?
I also get a pure white background, not like the demo shows.
Please advise, thanks!
February 22nd, 2008 at 1:20 pm
Moses,
Thank you for the awesome theme. I’m working with it now and am loving it. I have almost the same question as Marcin.
I typically setup my image placement within each individual post. So I configured the Global Image Alignment to “none.” In an individual posts where I select an alignment of “left” it looks fine in the wysiwyg editor, but not in the final result. For example, see this post: http://semiproblogging.com/copyblogger-on-keyword-research-for-bloggers/
Thank you so much for your help.

Moses,
Hey, I figured it out (not bad for an attorney eh?). Anyways, I went into the configurations.php file and deleted the following:
.post-content img {
float: ;
border-width: 0px;
}
Now the alignment commands that I set within my posts work. Thanks again for the great theme.

Alvin, it is working :). Thanks for help, my images are in the right places now.

MarcinZ, that’s awesome. Too bad I don’t understand the language your site is in.
I do have another question. Is it possible that when a visitor goes to an individual post where there is a “video-code” key in the custom field value, that the video in that custom field gets shown rather than the latest video?
Alternatively, is there a way to have navigation links within the videos tab to show more than one video. For example, in my blog located at http://the270.com, I have two vidoes stacked on top of one another (I’ll explain below how I did that). These represent the last two videos that I added via the custom field. What I would like is to only display one video and have a link to display the “next” video and so on. As an example, in this theme, http://www.wp-magazine.com/, there are “featured article” links that a user can click to go goto the next featured article. I’d like to do something similar to that in the videos tab.
Okay, here’s how I got the videos tab to display more than one video. In the functions.php file, goto the section called “grab video meta code from database for wp”. From there, change the number 1 to the number 2 in the following line: ORDER BY meta_id DESC LIMIT 1

I am trying to add a 300×250 Adsense Block into the Single Page… exactly where the forte.jpg is on this page and I am trying to make the text wrap around the Adsense block… But when I add the code, it is shifting the whole text down…
Any Idea how I can do it? I just want to place the Adsense code where the forte.jpg is… Thanks

I have also had the problem with the navigation bar, it does not show the black background and shows the list vertical instead of horizontal. For some reason, the problem solved itself on my site http://www.wwohn.com. I have no idea why.
Anyhow, I now started a Dutch blog at http://www.wwohn.nl and the same problem pops up.
I was now able to track down the problem. The css in configurations.php is not working properly. The error is in line 2:
“require_once( dirname(__FILE__) . ‘../../../../wp-config.php’);”
This line gives an error stating that the file “wp-content/themes/Forte../../../../wp-config.php” cannot be found.
Subsequently, it doen not parse the external style sheet in configurations.php and therefore the styling is not correct. This produces the error in the navigation bar.
I solved the problem by providing the absolute path to wp-config.php. I do not get the error anymore and the navigation bar shows perfectly.
I am sure that somebody can come up with a line of coding to fix this in the main template.

I was reading the post by Richie, http://wpthemesplugin.com/forte-2-column-blog-magazine-list-styled-wordpress-theme/#comment-36553 about the video in the side bar.
I want to add video in a post though. Somebody any idea if this theme supports this. How should i do this

I have a problem showing the video in the exact size of the dom tab (side bar).
I follow all the instructions that I read in these comments. Everything is ok but the video player that gome is showing is larger than the dom tan “Video” column.
This is the video code that I ad in the content custom fields.

Where can I reduce the number of post that Forte is showing in the home page?
I tried in “magazine layout” and did not saw where to do the change.

I am still having one problem with the theme. It is problem enough that I have had to stop using it until I can find the problem. How do I make the theme not delete my returns and leave the spacing I am putting between paragraphs? To date, it does not leave the spacing that should be a “return” () in any post. It just puts the lines one after the other, no space. I do not know what to do with it anymore. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Is there any way to make it so that all the text in a blockquote doesn’t have the first word capitalized?
March 12th, 2008 at 3:07 am
@Oliver Willis - just remove this from the style.css:
“text-transform: capitalize; “

Firstly, great theme! Thanks.
I am having one issue. Paragraph spacing. I need to space paragrpahs on a page (here is an example - http://www.teckh.com/?page_id=264). I cannot find the correct place in the CSS to enter the spacing.
Any guidance is appreciated. Thanks.
