The guys from StylishLabs.com visited and commented on this blog so naturally i visited their blog in return and i discovered that they are offering vector RSS icons for download, 5 styles to be exact (as seen in the pic).
The icons are a little unique with the exclamation mark “!” in them, guess it’s one way to get attention for your RSS link.Once you’ve downloaded and unzipped the file you’ll find two vectors files in it, an .AI and .EPS file.

Basically there’s two types, Vector or Raster.
Vector allow you to resize,enlarge the image without it being pixelated while Raster images can only be enlarged a certain size and it will begin to be blur/pixelated.
Of course there’s more to it but this is a basic info.

Moses, I like the one on the far right but I’m not a big fan of the exclamation mark. Maybe I’m just not used to seeing it yet.
Part of me thinks it should stay standardised so people can recognise it better. Thanks for the post though. Ever since I got an RSS icon with Santa on it, I’ve been a big fan of seasonal RSS icons.
