Today has been a bad day for me, first i am behind schedule on one of my client’s project than i discovered that my PC had been infected with a wierd virus that my Norton & Avast antivirus software could not delete, Amazing! (in a bad way).
The main reason i’m behind schedule is because my broadband connection is as bad as it’s ever been, i can’t even begin to tell you how angry i am at my ISP, but i have no choice but to continue with them as the competitors are only worst (at least in my area).
Than there’s this wierd virus called JambanMUv2, when i first came across it i laughed because “Jamban” means toilet in malay, but little did i know that my laughter was going to be short-lived.
I tried to remove it with Avast and Norton but it ended in failure, this JambanMuv2 thingy even created some other files called Flash10.exe, cmd.exe, jamban.com and such and to top it all the virus made my PC slow and it would automatically turn off my PC (which can be extremly extremely irritating if your working on Photoshop and forgot to save…).
That’s not all though, noooo, it even blocked all my files in one of my hard drive and prevented me from performing such tasks as editing my registry.
After some long hours of searching i finally found a cure and it’s called FlashKill 1.0, it did the trick, and to think that such a file solve my problem instead on much more popular antivirus softwares!
I recomend you scan your PC to check if your infected by this JambanMUv2 virus, i discovered it when i was checking my system info (via control panel) and saw that my Windows XP was all of a sudden registered to JambanMU.
Sorry for this rant type post, i just needed to get it out of me before i continue my work, the one good thing from this is that i’ve organized my current theme’s files and i will put it up for download on January 24th to celebrate this blog’s 1st annivesary.

Oh dear! Any idea how the toilet got into your pc in the first place? Through email or.. ? By its name, it sounds like it’s made in Malaysia.
