LightBreaker is my latest (number 16th) theme, unlike the Forte theme the LightBreaker theme is not a Magazine/news style type of theme, instead it’s a normal blog layout with some added features.If your using Widgets than you will appreciate the fact that the footer of this theme (4 columns) is actually widgetized, just drag and drop those widgets in place!.
The theme also includes special page templates such as Archives, Sitemap and Links,and did i mentioned it’s also 125×125 ad ready?
The theme also comes Adsense ready and all you have to do is change your publisher ID.There are some cool styles you can use for this theme as seen below so PLEASE READ the ReadMe file that is included in the downloaded zip file.

Hey, it’s me again ,just one suggestion. For adsense content ads use, the grey color won’t get a good result, I mean most of visitors will click blue or red adsense ads. I am not professional in color use, but I have changed all title and hyper link words into #990000. And a 300*260 adsense block at the beginning seems to be the most efficent block. Moreover, too many block will decrease the price per click so I think one in enough, hope helpful, again, awesome theme, I love it!

Cheddarfix, you can replaces the google adsense codes by yahoo or bidvertiser codes in every page file, I mean index, page, category, search, tag and etc. My email is webmaster@colorfulmars.com, welcome communicate, good luck!

Great theme here! I was wondering if anyone reading here could help me out with these questions:
1) My themes sidebar area- the recent entries, recent comments, and most comment section does not cascade properly. The sidebar menu is open for all categories, I did not change that area and would like to have it respond the way it is supposed to without re-downloading the theme. Any suggestion are appreciated.
2) How do you get the rss added to the theme? I have the feedburner plugin, and I have tried burning my feed & this has not worked out for me yet. Any suggestions will be great.

One more thing that I’ve noticed that don’t work is that when I dragged the text files to the sidebars, they don’t show on the page.
Maybe i am not doing the right thing, maybe somebody can point this out to me.

I solved the problem with image text wrap and it’s in thre readme text file.

Hello mate this is a wicked theme but I’d like to know how I could do a couple things:
1. Change the background so that it’s more lighter like this, I tried to change the background image with a 30×30 image but it just displays across the top of the page, all colours remain in tact.
2. Do I need to configure the email subs to work with my email settings, if so how?
3. How do I add an image for my header instead of the default text

Hi Everyone,
Its great to see the theme being so popular. Its very encouraging for theme sponsors as myself. Those of you who leave the links on, its very, very much appreciated.
Those who remove links (we do realise this will happen and it is anticipated), in the long term, it does take away the theme producers/designers leverage with sponsors when it comes to their asking price to release the theme via a sponsor. This indirectly means, the theme producer cannot get paid what he really deserves.
I would pay much more if the theme would be a more sustainable form of marketing. However due to the fact,
1) a blogger will change the them,
2) some themes would be flops and
3) most bloggers would remove the links
there is only a certain amount that sponsors are willing to pay, though I personally feel the theme is worth much more.
Basically for those of you who remove links, you directly hurt the potential higher income of the producer.
I hope this information helps and will benefit the the theme producers/designers out there who do such a fantastic job.

@Tiffany - Whta browser are you using, as far as i can see (on firefox) your recent entries, recent comments, and most comment section are displaying as it should.I can see that you’ve solved the Feedburner problem too.

In that theme you have a box where a user can enter his/her email address and get updates, do I have to edit any settings for my mail server to make it work?

Yes I did fix the rss problem and also the recent comments etc. section. All it took was upgrading to wordpress 2.3.3.
Also to Titus, I do understand how important not removing the links for themes are and personally look at it like this: If I didn’t have to put in the time, knowledge, or effort towards building the theme and as an extra added bonus I also get to use it for free, then leaving links in the footer is the least I could pay!
Ne-ways a little link love never hurt anybody! Heck, I do follow on my blog!
For the ones removing links: if your blog is going to rank good it will do so with however many outbound links you put in it. Meaning, it’s not the outbound links that are most penalizing, its the content!
Bottom line, thanks for such a great FREE theme and for finally getting around to responding to questions…that is most appreciated.

Hey, how does it work for the header graphic? There is an image file
called logo.gif in the images file but it doesn’t show up.
If I wanted to get rid of the banner and make a full-size header for the top, is it possible? What would I have to edit?

I got the theme working and installed I’m having trouble making Yahoo ads show. I can get the ad to show in the header.php, I also edited all the other files that had the adsense code and gave it a yahoo code but my ads are still not showing, I keep on getting Google ads even though I don’t seem to have anything with the google code on any of the files from the layout.
Please help.

I check the lightbreaker code…. It contains a code that can track an index page with < 4 post will display adsense code ? am i right ? My problem is.. i try it offline using xammp server.. and try to put 6 posts, i’m quite confused that all those 6 posts are displayed on the index page. can u help ?

when I add wp_link_pages the pagination ends up under the related posts and other after post info.
Could you tell me how I can add it so that it is directly under the content.

Germz - I think you’ve solved the Yahoo problem? as for slow loading maybe you can try removing “social.php” code from index.php and single.php

hmm?…the adsense code will loop 3 times only..if you mean you want it to loop 6 times then its impossible. if you mean about the paging in home or index page, it should be controlable through admin > options > reading

using couple of plugin usually will slow down the site load..it happen when i activate post-rating or polls and couple of plugin together..its normal but if you need to boost it up..try wp-cache ok

Great theme I love it and installed it on my site http://www.asaudilife.net
However, i was hoping you could help me with a small problem. The site workes great on Safari and firefox as far as I can see but now when I used to check it using IE7 the main page is a bit messed up its as if the right column isn’t adapting to the right width, all the other pages work fine just the main page dosen’t.
Can you take a look and let me know what I’m doing wrong?

I am really a newbie at adjusting code, and I cannot figure out I can make the “Want to put your ad banner here, contact us” link to my e-mail address. I want to put my Yahoo address in here. I am pretty sure I edit it in in the sidebar.php section, but what do I replace the # with?

I am trying to use this theme on one of my blogs and I also have troubles getting it to work in wordpress 2.5. Actually, in the widgets screen the left, right sidebar and footer are empty. However, on live screen these three boxes are filled. with all kind of widget output. No idea what happens to my widget screen.

How can I correct the following problem?
The first two lines of every post are indented automatically. I have not been able correct the problem in wordpress with the toolbar during writing.

Hello and thanks for some nice themes, I am using your Lightbreaker theme and cannot get the comment boxes to work no matter what settings I use, is it a layout prob? I love the theme and dont want to use another. People however cannot type in the actual comment boxes.

I am very happy and satisfied with the ‘LightBreaker’ Theme made for wordpress. I am right now using it for my blog. Though everybit seems fine, just wanted to make a small change in the ‘adsense’ section for my blog.
The adsense ads appearing in the blog posts do appear on end of the post, whereas i personally prefer it to appear in middle of the post. Can you assist me on that Please..
