Here’s yet another way for you and me to make money from our blogs as Chitika has updated it’s LINX ads unit which will display an image once your readers hovers their mouse on a double underlined link, you will gain some $$, of course this sort of advert is not new as there are the likes of Kontera and IntelliTXT.
Basically Chitika’s Linx will identify key products/keywords within the content on your blog and hyperlink (double underline) keywords to interactive paid (CPC-based) product listings featuring best deals, offers and promotions from name brand merchants.
At the moment i don’t think i will implement LINX on this blog because of the pop-up element, i feel this would ruin the readers (your) experience, plus i’m trying as best as i can to monetize this blog without running too many ads, i prefer to keep it simple and clean but finding the right balance is hard sometimes especially since Google upgraded me to PR 5 recently and the ad offers are coming in.

I must say that chitika is really innovating in online advertising once more. the eminimalls program in my opinion was just brilliant despite all the problems and publishers complaints.
