NorthxEast.com, a popular blog and one that i read quite regularly is now up for sale at SitePoint.com.At the time of this post the current bid was $5,700 and it should go higher before the deadline,if you are not a reader of NXE than in a nutshell the blog is about blogging. Written by two up and comers with contributions from guest experts across the industry, the blog presents both sound blogging advice as well as penetrating insights. With a longer, more in-depth style, NxE aims to provide a series of weekly articles that no blogger can afford to miss.

Anyhow some months ago after we launched FreelanceSwitch and it began to be super successful I realised that some time in the future there was a very real possibility we might want to sell NorthxEast, since it didn’t really fit in with the rest of what my company does (we mostly do sites for creatives like designers, flash animators and so on). We weren’t really 100% sure about selling however until yesterday when having a weekly meeting and deciding to refocus some of our efforts.
