I started off blogging for the love of yakking. Then I got lured by the USD and yakked out of tangent and thus lost a big number of readers. Now, I want my readers back! It’s no fun yakking to no one. So, at least I would still be yakking even if Google does away with PRs.

I think Google is doing what it needs to protect the integrity of its search results.

If TLA would allow the nofollow attribute to be placed in their links, then I think Google would relent.

As it is, TLA is seen by Google as a program to artificially boost PR.

Bloggers ought to monetize their blogs if they can. But they should do it ethically.

I am not the least bit bothered actually. PR or no PR, it’s the love for “yakking” aka blogging first and money, second. PR is only important for those seeking to monetise their blog.

Nice find. It’s frightening how Google wields its power like this. Let’s hope it’s either temporary or TLA can ride this one out.
