Wowee, it;s been one year ago since i started this blog, i kid you not when i say that i can remember exactly what happened the day i started this blog, i was doing alot of projects using WordPress and i thought to myself – why not start a blog about WordPress? at that time the only other blogs i knew that featured WordPress oriented news were Weblogtoolscollection.com, Lorelle on WordPress and Blogging Pro, fast foward one year later and there’s tons of WordPress news type sites on the net and i’m sure there will be more to come.

I have learn plenty in this 365 days, when i started this blog WordPress was in version 2.1 and now we’re nearing 2.5 (2.4 will be skipped), there was a sharp rise of Premium Themes, i started offering free themes to the community, i met a couple of really good friends, i received a good offer from someone who wanted to buy this blog, I interviewed a couple of famous bloggers (like John Chow) and that was all the tip of the iceberg of what has happened.

The Future

I plan to release even more quality themes, some will be my designs while other will be design by my friends, i also hope to make some money from advertisements on this blog as i am not using TLA or ReviewMe on this blog and i didn’t really monetize this blog till this year, it was all part of my experiment and i gained some knowledge that is vital to me.

In this past year i also made some good friends over at FaceBook, you can’t imagine how much of work opportunities i received via FaceBook, somehow it looks like people like to know who they are working with and FaceBook kinda provides a good platform for that.

I also hope to get some good guest bloggers on here to posts quality posts regarding WordPress, i’ve sent a couple of invites but everyone is so busy with work and their own blog and i don’t blame them as i know how that feels like!

My aim for the next 1 year is to surpass the 1k mark for RSS susbcribers, i think is a realistic hope.
