The big story for the past 24 hours in the WordPress community is the released of WordPress 2.5.
This is one of the most anticipated release and from the looks of it, it doesn’t dissapoint.
Here are some of the features:
Cleaner, faster, less cluttered dashboard
Dashboard Widgets
Multi-file upload with progress bar
Bonus: EXIF extraction (great for Photographers/Photo Bloggers)
Search posts and pages
Tag management
Password strength meter
Concurrent editing protection
Few-click plugin upgrades
Built-in galleries
I could actually go on and post about all the features but that would be like re-inventing the wheel as Matt Mullenweg has already posted an epic about WordPress 2.5.

As awesome as it sounds, I don’t really like the theme for the dashboard. Very dull and weird looking. Not going to upgrade yet.
