Just a heads up that WordPress 2.4 will be available for download by January 24th 2008 which means for the rest of this year there won’t be a major update, version 2.4 was supposed to be released on December 12th 2007 but was pushed to early next year.
I like the way WordPress has organized it’s released dates but i hope i won’t have to do major update to my themes for the next version, in fact i haven’t updated some of my themes for version 2.3!. LOL.

I haven’t updated any of my 5 blogs to 2.3.1. Would you recommend not moving to 2.3.1 since 2.4 is right around the corner?

Hi Leesa,
Eventhough 2.4 is around the corner i would suggest that you upgrade to 2.3.1, it’s always best to have the latest version installed to play safe.
On the other hand i know of some people that hesistate because they use tons of plugins and most would break with a newer version, unless your in a similar situation it would be better to upgrade to 2.3.1.
