Ladies and gentleman after all the waiting WordPress 2.5 has finally been released, there are so many exciting features in this new release and i will be posting more about that a little later.In the meantime the WordPress main site – WordPress.org has also received a facelift, the new design looks good, simple, clean and similar to the admin theme in 2.5, some people hate the new design while other love it, as for me personally i’m loving it, although the colors might not be my cup of tea but overall i think it was a job well done.
Will you be upgrading to WordPress 2.5 immediately? I will be upgrading soon for this blog, but on my other blogs I might have to wait because of the amount of edits/hacks i’ve done on them, it’s not as straight foward to upgrade a site that has been edited to suite my needs but it will be upgraded soon enough.

I have been running RC1 since that came out as I was getting frustrated using 2.5 for development and still having to use 2.3 for real life. I’m glad the full version is out now and I have upgraded most of my blogs.
