iMax Width is a plugin i wished i stumbled on much earlier, it’s a really handy plugin that sets a maximum image width so large inline images don’t mess up your wordpress theme. It also adds height and width params to all IMG tags in a posts so the pages load more smoothly.

* Reduces reader annoyances (keeps text from appearing to auto-scroll as images load in)
