The Maintenance Mode Plugin allows you to make your blog temporarily unavailable to your visitors with a custom message. It is still accessible by the administrators and logged in users.
As soon as the plugin is activated, visitors will see the following message:
Maintenance Mode
SITE is currently undergoing scheduled maintenance.
Please try back in 60 minutes.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
This is a usefull plugin to have if your your constantly changing the look and feel of your blog and especially if you have a high traffic blog.
Installation
his plugin can be installed in 2 easy steps:
* Download the plugin (see “Downloads” above).
* Decompress the .zip archive and put the files into your plugins directory (/wp-content/plugins/) or into a sub directory of the plugins directory.
