3cWPTP is my latest theme release, it’s a 3 column widget ready theme and yes it’s exactly the theme i’m using right now on this blog, but you can also use the live demo to check out the plain jane version.

Response(s) to the 3cWPTP Theme
I’m delighted to say that the response to my latest wordpress theme has been really good with over 200 downloads at Themes.wordpress.net and above 80 downloads here (and counting).
I’m also happy that Robyn Tippins from MyblogLog.com featured this theme on their blog, it’s an honour indeed.
I’ve also received some good comments via my contact form and even received some questions from James Yeang of Friedbeef.com, I have decided to feature his questions and answer them here because i feel it will benefit those that have/will download this theme, so here goes:
1. The code loads right sidebar 1st, then everything else later?
Yes, but you can modify that in the code (index.php)
2. Is it fluid or fixed?
It is fixed, but yet again could be solved with code fix
3. I want to make my friedbeef header logo like your cool header on your demo site… how do I do that, or can you help teach me how? (it would say fb rather than mb i guess)
Yes, i do think that this theme’s logo will fit your site since you would just have to change the “m” to “f”, the logo is yours for the taking just download the .psd file of the logo below and modify to your liking.
4. Is the footer section widgetized too? Or is it manual
Widget, the “get recent comments” and “most commented posts” plugin are meant to fit right in there.
5.You mentioned plugins for the theme, i only have Sidebar widgets installed, what impact will this have if i don’t use the other plugins?
Not much of an impact, in fact i think nothing at all but the theme will look a little empty but that can be solved by implementing other plugins in their place.
6. Can I assume it’s Wordpress 2.1 compatible, and you’re going to support this when Wordpress goes to 2.2?
Yes it is 2.1 compatible, i can’t give a very definite 100% that i will support 2.2 but i’m highly sure i will post a support for Wordpress 2.2.

Hi i am using this 3cWPTP Theme, however I am not ageek like you. How cna you change the date in the calendar, I isnatlled it April 15 and the date showing is March 26.

Hi Sandy, thanks for using the theme, i believe your problem can be solved by setting the correct time for your blog..just go to the admin panel and than choose “Options” and under “General” you will see “Date and Time”..just change that.

Hi, This is weird, but if you look at my blogsite, everytime someone makes a comment the picture of a woman ( I don’t even know) is showing. Check the comment on my site:

Hi Sandy,
that pic of a woman is just a mock avatar, you can get rid of it in the themes “image” folder.
delete the “mygif.gif” image.

Nice theme you have there. I’m using it right now but didn’t broadcast it yet cause there are lots of thinks to edit. Specially the video posts I made from my free wordpress site.
I wonder if you guys can help me, I post videos from youtube and dailymotion. Do you know a good plugin that works well for this theme?
Appreciate any help I can get.

Hi MyAvatars, i’m really having a hard time searching for the html code to use when posting a video.
Do you know a code that I can use to post a video specifically for dailymotion and youtube. I don’t use google video by the way.
And one more thing, if you look at my index site, i dont what happened why it’s not aligned.

I’m sure this is right under my nose… I just can’t seem to find it. I just installed your theme (it rocks) but I can’t seem to find where I change the short little blurb under “ABOUT” where it says hello, my name is NULL. I keep looking everywhere to see where this change is, but can’t seem to find it.

Hi, I have been playing with this theme and it is a great theme - very well planned and laid. Only problem I have found this is that I cannot for the life of me get an image in a post or a page to align anything other than left. Even if I select align right in the editor when published the image is on the left!
Other than that great theme.

i think the problem can’t be solved by editing the CSS file and changing the align and float attribute to “right” instead of “left”

Last stumbling block with this great theme!
I have just activated the mybloglog widget and the askimet widget, however when I position them on the left or right sidebar they both slide in onto the main post area.
Do you have any ideas - no worries if not as I just wont use them.

Hi, I keep getting a line appearing saying “1 users resposed ‘ Blog title ‘” when I view a post with the comments box below.
Resposed isn’t even a word as far as I can tell - do you know why this is there, and how to get rid of it?
