First there was the Revolution theme by Brian Gardner and now there’s the Particles theme that doesn’t look like a the usual blog layout.
The theme is kinda like a portal which displays 12 articles on the frontpage and i’m sure that could be increased or decreased according to your liking, the articles are aligned in grids of four.There is no sidebars on the frontpage however there is one on a single post view, the theme is also widget ready,XHTML and CSS Valid and does NOT use any images at all, hence it loads pretty darn fast.

I liked Brian Gardner’s Silhouette theme! I’ve recently redesigned my blog using it.
