The quality of the themes being released is really amazing me, the work put into these themes are tremendous, and yet it’s being released for FREE, i believe this will push the designers of “Premium Themes” (paid) to produce even better themes, which of course is a good thing in the long run for WordPress users. :)

Yet again a good post. I have been keeping myself up-to-date on your blog for about a month now and I really love coming here. Keep up the good work!

I gotta say though the Branford Magazine theme to me looks like a complete Revolution Theme rip-off. Just my 2cents.

Thanks for featuring our theme, I do like the idea that quality of the themes have significantly improved with the introduction of paid premium themes. We make it available for free, however, we up-sell with our customization platforms/projects, making possible the development of free themes.

@DeFries: you say:”I gotta say though the Branford Magazine theme to me looks like a complete Revolution Theme rip-off. ”

Actually (and that´s stated in the themes discription, redme file and elsewhere) it´s a combo of parts from three different themes. even if i took inspiration from two page layouts of the “Revolution” theme, I didn´t copy a single line of code. The look is very similar but it´s no copying or rip off. By the way, many more features where adopted from “Mimbo” than from “Revolution”.

Questions on Massive and Branford – do they have Gravatar enabled for comments? And are they Adsense friendly? Thanks.

Does anyone have the file massivenews.zip for the Massive News wordpress theme? The site isn’t there anymore, but I really want that theme! It’s PERFECT for my uses. If so, if anyone would be so kind to e-mail it to ridiculove@gmail.com I would gladly refer your blog/site to friends in exchange!
