First it was China now the nation of Turkey has blocked access to WordPress.com with this message:
“Access to this site has been suspended in accordance with decision no: 2007/195 of T.C. Fatih 2.Civil Court of First Instance.”
I found this out via Matt’s blog and many of the comments suggest that this is a DNS based block and can be easily passed by using Open DNS

I knew that China was way off but Turkey? Being able to host a blog is just on of the things that one needs to be able to if you are to be considered “free”. With that kind of limitations how do they ever thing that they’ll be part of EU? Beats me….
